Locations follow the businesses’ public address or company-name references, not independently verified producing-site addresses for a proposed order. The last column is a screening direction, not confirmation of bicycle-platform approval.

Category 1: Standard fasteners and cold-headed production

Standard parts deserve a separate sourcing discussion. I would not equate standard geometry with an entry-level bicycle, or custom machining with a premium-quality result. The purchasing decision should follow the released specification, order profile and evidence required for the joint.

1. Gem-Year — start with the standard fastener package

Gem-Year's official site describes a broad fastener manufacturing business in Jiashan, with applications across industrial sectors.1

For a bicycle buyer, the useful initial question is whether the required standard sizes, material requirements and purchasing quantities fit that business. Put the standard items in a separate RFQ rather than assuming a large industrial range also demonstrates frame-specific pivot engineering.

The sources reviewed do not establish a dedicated full-suspension pivot program. Ask for the proposed producing site, an item-by-item specification response and the actual documentation available for your order.

2. Ningbo Teng Qi Fasteners — investigate the forming route

Ningbo Teng Qi publishes a cold-heading service covering several metal families, alongside a substantial standard-fastener catalog.2

It is a candidate to investigate when the sourcing question concerns formed fasteners. For a custom part, ask which features would be formed, which require subsequent machining, and at what stage the finished dimensions would be accepted.

The important comparison is the proposed route for your drawing—not the label “cold heading.” Its published service information is broader than bicycle hardware; it does not, by itself, establish experience managing a complete suspension-pivot BOM.

Category 2: Published bicycle pivot and mounting hardware

This category has more direct public evidence of bicycle pivot or mounting products. Even here, a product photograph establishes a product category, not compatibility with your frame.

3. PremFixer CNC — a closer look at frame-specific pivot hardware

PremFixer is the English brand of Guangdong Pinshang Hardware Products Co., Ltd., based in Shaoguan. The company was founded in 2020; its About page distinguishes that company history from the founding team's more than 20 years of combined fastener-industry experience.3

Its full-suspension offering covers matched axles, bolts, sleeves, nuts, spacers and locking components developed around customer drawings or samples. The published configurations include dual-sided main pivot axles, axle-and-locking-screw sets and axles with flange nuts.4

For a buyer sourcing custom bicycle pivot bolts, that creates a specific reason to open a discussion: the RFQ can address the mating hardware together, rather than only a single machined part.

Put the assembly relationship ahead of the machine description

For a new main pivot, I would first ask the drawing to identify the bearing-locating surfaces, clamping faces, spacer stack and thread engagement. I would also want the assembly direction and the available tool access.

These questions establish what the supplier is being asked to control. A smooth shank diameter, the relationship between two axes and an end-face requirement are different drawing decisions. “High precision” does not tell the supplier which one matters, or how acceptance will be demonstrated.

A useful DFM response should identify the functional feature, proposed manufacturing route and inspection approach. It should also say which missing input prevents a firm quotation. Buyers reviewing those requirements can use the more detailed discussion of pivot-bolt geometry and inspection requirements.

That is a better basis for evaluating a CNC pivot-bolt factory than counting machine axes or accepting a universal tolerance claim.

Separate core manufacturing from coordinated specialist work

PremFixer's manufacturing page identifies cold heading, CNC machining, thread rolling and tool/die manufacturing as in-house processes. It describes specified inspection and testing, heat treatment and surface operations as supported by qualified partner factories under PremFixer project coordination.5

For procurement, the practical issue is accountability across that route. Ask who receives the approved revision, who performs each specified operation, which records return with the parts, and who releases the finished batch. A coordinated route can be a sensible arrangement; the RFQ should make its boundaries visible.

The scope should be confirmed in the quotation rather than inferred from photographs of equipment or a general list of services.

Build the material and finish choices into the BOM

PremFixer's full-suspension page includes stainless steel, titanium and aluminum among the project-specific material options.4 For a mixed-material kit, I would specify the exact material requirement and condition for each part number, then add the finish and the required inspection state.

Do not approve the set simply as “titanium and black aluminum.” A useful BOM distinguishes the axle, locking screw, inner spacer and external cap, even when their appearance is coordinated. Where a finish affects a controlled feature, the drawing should identify the required finished condition and any masking or allowance to be reviewed.

Appearance approval belongs in that package too: define the reference sample, the surfaces being compared and the acceptance method. A product photograph is not a substitute for those decisions.

Specify the locking process, not just a colored patch

PremFixer's website shows hardware configurations with pre-applied thread locking.6 That supports a discussion about pre-applied options; it does not establish a particular brand, formulation or application process for every order.

The distinction is real. Nylok describes nylon-based mechanical locking products separately from its microencapsulated chemical-locking systems: one uses a prevailing-torque mechanism, while the other forms an adhesive bond after assembly.1718

For the RFQ, name the required product or performance specification, application location, inspection requirements and approved assembly instructions. Do not use “Nylok,” “nylon patch” and “thread-locking adhesive” as interchangeable purchasing descriptions.

Similarly, an anti-creak objective should become an agreed investigation and validation plan for the assembled joint. I would not accept “zero creak” as a component guarantee without defined assembly, loading, environmental and acceptance conditions.

Define what the prototype milestone actually includes

PremFixer publishes a typical 5–8-day sample target, conditional on review of the drawing, quantity, tooling, process route and partner requirements.5 Treat that as a project-planning starting point, not a guarantee that every finished hardware kit will ship within that window.

Ask whether the milestone means machined samples, finished samples, samples with inspection reports, or an assembly-ready set for customer validation. Those are different deliverables. Put the agreed start condition and deliverable in writing.

The relevant fit is a brand or frame manufacturer that needs a coordinated, drawing-controlled pivot package and an engineering discussion before quotation—not a claim that one supplier is best for every bicycle fastener.

4. Baoji HOSN Titanium — titanium pivot and shock-hardware categories

HOSN's bicycle-parts page goes beyond generic bicycle screws. It names shock bolts, rear-swingarm pivot bolts, a main-pivot cap bolt and offset mounting hardware within its titanium range.7

That is relevant public evidence when screening suppliers for titanium mounting components. It does not establish fit for a named frame, nor prove an ability to deliver every component in a mixed-material kit.

Send the actual assembly interfaces and ask whether the proposed item is an existing catalog geometry or a custom development. Confirm which mating parts are included in the quotation and which remain the customer's responsibility.

Category 3: Titanium and material-specific manufacturing

For these candidates, the first screening question is whether the published titanium capability matches the particular component—not whether a titanium catalog is automatically suitable for a loaded bicycle joint.

5. Baoji Sino-Swiss Titanium — a broad titanium fastener range

Baoji Sino-Swiss lists titanium fasteners and precision components, with a separate bike-and-racing category. Its published manufacturing description includes CNC equipment and work to supplied details or sketches.89

This is a route to investigate for titanium fastener families and custom parts. Keep the comparison drawing-led: the nominal thread and head style are only part of the specification for a shoulder or locating component.

Request the exact material requirement, finished dimensions and proposed inspection records. The bike/racing category is useful evidence of product positioning, not proof of approval for your suspension architecture.

6. Wisdom Titanium — custom titanium components alongside bicycle parts

Wisdom Titanium's official pages identify titanium fasteners and customized CNC parts as core products, with a dedicated bicycle-parts category. Its published address is in Baoji.1011

For a buyer developing a new geometry, I would use the first exchange to test how the supplier translates a model or sample into a controlled drawing. Ask which dimensions remain unresolved and how the proposed sample will be accepted.

Keep appearance choices separate from component approval. A similar-looking catalog part can start a conversation, but the production quotation should refer to the actual drawing revision rather than a photograph.

7. Baoji JHY Titanium Industry — titanium and other non-ferrous fasteners

JHY describes manufacturing titanium and other non-ferrous fasteners, including standard and custom bolts, nuts and washers. Its company profile lists CNC machining alongside hot- and cold-forming processes.12

That makes it a candidate for material-specific RFQs. It is not, on its own, evidence of a complete full-suspension hardware program.

A productive screening question is how the chosen manufacturing route will be connected to the material record, finished-part inspection and production lot. For a pivot application, add the mating geometry and assembly requirements before treating a catalog fastener as an alternative.

Category 4: Custom screws, security drives and peripheral hardware

The Guangdong companies below provide another sourcing direction for small or special-function fasteners. Their regional locations do not establish that they supply particular frame factories, and this guide makes no such claim.

8. Shenzhen Shi Shi Tong Metal Products — special screw geometry

Shi Shi Tong publishes custom shoulder, long, miniature, captive and anti-tamper screw capabilities. It also describes multi-station cold heading, thread rolling and secondary CNC machining among its manufacturing routes.13

I would consider that combination for an RFQ involving an unusual head, shoulder or end form. Ask the supplier to identify the feature driving the route and the inspection method, rather than requesting a generic machining tolerance.

The reviewed information supports special-fastener manufacturing. A proposed pivot-axle role still needs bicycle-specific interface review and qualification; it should not be inferred from the word “shoulder.”

9. Dongguan Yuhuang Electronic Technology — small and special-function screws

Yuhuang's official profile identifies screw customization and manufacturing in Dongguan. Its listed families include micro and machine screws, captive screws, sealing screws, security screws and SEMS assemblies.14

For a bicycle BOM, this is a candidate to investigate for enclosure, cover or peripheral mounting fasteners—not a documented complete pivot-system supplier.

Define the mating material, engagement, head clearance and service requirement. When a sealing screw is proposed, ask how it will be validated in the actual enclosure assembly; do not infer an enclosure-level ingress rating from the product category.

10. Shenzhen Heat Hardware / Heatfastener — custom and security-drive screws

Heatfastener identifies its business as Shenzhen Heat Hardware and lists custom shoulder, security, captive and nylon-patch screws. Its custom-screw page includes bicycle applications among several industries.1516

That makes it a screening candidate for special-function items outside, or alongside, the main pivot package. For a security-drive design, establish the approved tool, service access and replacement policy. For a patched fastener, identify the actual locking specification.

A broad application list does not demonstrate a completed frame-platform program. Ask for a response against the submitted drawing and the exact scope of supporting operations.

Compare the proposed deliverable before comparing the unit price

After screening, I would send a common controlled package to the two or three suppliers whose documented scope best matches that package. Sending an identical full-frame RFQ to all ten is less useful than matching the work first.

The comparison should then expose differences in what is actually being quoted.

A quote should distinguish recurring piece cost from tooling, finishing setup, agreed inspection, packaging and logistics. Missing scope is not automatically a saving. Conversely, a more detailed quotation is not automatically better: each included activity should correspond to a real project requirement.

Ask what triggers a revised quotation or a new approval. A material change, revised shoulder length, different finish or altered inspection requirement should not be absorbed into an unchanged part description without review.

For the producing site and any specialist partners, request the evidence relevant to the proposed order. A public website is the start of that conversation. It is not a substitute for checking the supplier identity, current documentation, sample conformity and agreed release conditions.
