Cold heading machine for fastener forming

Cold Heading & Thread Rolling

Multi-station cold headers for M3–M12 production. Capable of forming hex heads, flanged heads, and special profiles from wire rod in a single pass. Thread rolling produces work-hardened threads with superior fatigue resistance compared to cut threads.

CNC turn-mill center for custom bicycle hardware

CNC Turning & Milling

CNC lathes and 3-axis machining centers for complex geometries beyond cold heading capability — specialized washers, custom spacers, turned aluminum components, and small-batch custom fasteners. Tight tolerance capability down to ±0.01 mm.

Surface Treatment & Coating

In-house Dacromet, Zn-Ni alloy, and zinc electroplating lines provide complete control over coating thickness, uniformity, and hydrogen de-embrittlement baking. Eliminates the quality risk and lead time uncertainty of outsourced plating.

Automated optical sorting system and separated fastener bins

Inspection & Packaging

Automated optical sorting (AOS) machines perform 100% dimensional and surface inspection for safety-critical fasteners. Parts are then kitted, labeled, and packed to customer specification — with options for workstation-kitted assembly packs and private-label branding.

Quality Laboratory

15+ instruments for material verification, dimensional metrology, and environmental testing

Universal Tensile Tester

Proof load, ultimate tensile strength, yield strength, and elongation testing per ISO 898-1. Wedge tensile for head-to-shank integrity verification.

Salt Spray Chamber

ISO 9227 neutral salt spray (NSS) testing for corrosion resistance. Standard 72/96/120/240-hour exposures available. Coating qualification per customer specification.

Optical Emission Spectrometer

Chemical composition analysis for incoming material verification. Confirms alloy grade (304 vs 316 stainless, Gr.2 vs Gr.5 titanium) before production begins.

Rockwell & Vickers Hardness Testers

Surface and core hardness verification per ISO 6508 (HRC/HRB) and ISO 6507 (HV). Case depth measurement for carburized and induction-hardened fasteners.

Video Measuring Machine

2D dimensional metrology with sub-micron accuracy. Thread profile analysis, radius measurement, and GD&T verification. Automated reporting with pass/fail boundary overlays.

Metallurgical Microscope

Grain structure analysis, heat treatment verification, case depth measurement, and failure mode identification. Critical for root cause analysis and new material qualification.
